Well it has just been one of those weeks. We had huge plans for this weekend. However, they are not going to happen for me. My hubby will be on his own out of town to a family event. :( Ayden is pretty darn sick. We really debated on making an ER visit last night. Thankfully I have experienced this pneumonia stuff myself and with my kids on several occasions. He seems to have the worst of times at night. He goes from no fever to a fever of 102.4 and his eyes swell and he has nasty green goop coming out of his tear ducts and his breathing becomes rapid. Thanks to a dose of Motrin and then an hour and a half later a dose of Tylenol and a breathing treatment his breathing slows down to an ok rate. :( I just hate it when my babies are sick.
Onto a different note, my sweet baby girl MacKenzie has gotten in trouble at school this week twice for throwing food. Sometimes I think maybe we should home school, but then I think of how my kids will miss out on sports and those things. That's the battle going on in my brain at the moment.
SO today was a half day of school. This means MacKenzie was home for lunch. We had our brats that we made when we butchered a couple weeks ago and we had steamed veggies. :(Sadly they weren't frozen from our garden as we didn't have one last year. Oh well! I am planning a large garden this year to make up for last year. :D YAY!!!!!!!!!!! Well thankfully its nap time and just maybe I'll get a few things done around this house. OCD cleaning here I come. I'm not afraid to admit it. :D
P.S. these pics are from a couple nights ago, not last night. He looks much better in these pics than he did last night.
He sure looks like Kent did when he was young. He is sooooo cute.
ReplyDeleteHang in there.
I unschooled my daughter and she turned out great! :-) Poke around our old website for stuff she has done and unschooling info.
ReplyDeleteI am the sicky and get IVIg. My daughter grew up outspoken to docs and compassionate towards people with special needs.
