These are my babies.... MacKenzie is 6, Ayden is 2 and Baylee Ann is 1. They are all so different yet so alike in many ways. One big way that they are alike is that the oldest two have Antibody Deficiencies. The youngest is showing some signs as well and will be tested at age 2. Here is some information on antibody deficiencies. http://www.info4pi.org/aboutPI/index.cfm?Section=aboutPI&content=faq&CFID=37035138&CFTOKEN=89940892#494
MacKenzie did a treatment similar to ivig. She did the sub q treatment. This way we could do it at home avoiding the hospital and iv's. Ayden has had several shots to boost his. He has been fighting a sinus infection and yesterday it turned into a bad case of bronchitis, borderline pneumonia. Please pray for him and the rest of our family. Baylee currently has a sinus infection. We are in hopes that with antibiotics she will not get the nasty stuff Ayden has. With antibiotics come yeast infections for my kids. I feed them organic yogurt, however I am having a very hard time finding the organic soy yogurt for Baylee who is lactose intolerant. If you have any suggestions as to where I could find it please let me know. I tried the three grocery stores near me and none of them had it. We use the Stoneyfield Farm brand. Yo baby and Yo Soy yogurts.
As far as my weight loss goes. It's a slow slow process. Last night we had spaghetti. Made with lots of veggies in the sauce. My kids devoured it. Tonight I think I will turn the leftover into baked spaghetti and add a few more veggies. Now all I need to do is talk my hubby into eating it with wheat noodles. What is on your menu for dinner tonight?
I read a blog about a lady who takes the IVIg things. she goes thru hell.
ReplyDeleteI didnt realize the kids had such a time. Bless their hearts.
They are beautiful
I had an idea. If Kent can bring the cookies to work, I can have mom pick them up and pay for them. My granddaughters bday is saturday and mom can bring them to me. Will that work? Let me know and I will call mom.
The treatments are hell! I will never forget the feeling of having to poke MacKenzie every week for a year. She to this day is terrified of needles. :( I will share some pics in my next post from her treatment days.
